Almond Tart

Method

Tart Preparation:

  1. Mix the flour with the sugar, butter and rub them well between the fingers
  2. Add to the above the eggs , vanilla, the lemon or orange peel & baking powder then mix to make dough
  3. Put the dough in a tart tray and cover its surface with Vitrac Apricot or Strawberry Jam

Mixture Preparation:

  1. Melt butter and remove from stove and add the sugar and lightly blend the mixture
  2. Add the eggs, vanilla, lemon peel, then semolina, Vitrac Almond syrup and baking powder and mix well
  3. Pour the mixture over the tart and garnish the surface with almond slices.
  4. Place in the oven on 175 C for 30-35 minutes

Ingredients

100g butter 
1 ½ cup sugar
 1 tablespoon lemon peel or orange
 1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
 1 tbsp fine semolina
1 teaspoon baking powder 
 a pinch of salt
 1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon Vitrac Apricot or Strawberry Jam
 ½ Vitrac Almond Syrup
