Vaccination

The fundamental mission of vaccines is to provide immunity to the body against infection before the contact with external pathogens. Hence, Vaccines are developed from microorganisms that are disease causing, but altered in a way that they cannot cause infection.

Once the vaccine is administered, the immune system responds by creating defenses as if it had been attacked by the disease. Thus, if a vaccinated person is exposed to those same microorganisms, the antibodies are already present which will destroy the microorganisms and prevent the body from infection.

If in doubt about whether to vaccinate your baby, think that children under five do not have the immune system developed enough to fight off infections

Follow the recommended vaccination Schedule by MOH (ministry of health) in your country, as it will contain all the mandatory vaccines and ask your pediatrician, if any extra vaccines is needed.
